Default Bathroom walls separating

I haven't seen any threads about this before ,but I can't believe that I'm the only one with this problem.
The upper half of the back shower wall separates from the bottom when the door is latched.
I'm enclosing some pictures of the area I'm talking about and my fix.
The hasp that holds the two halves together comes loose and allows the upper wall to move toward the hall. I'd have to reattach the hasp in order to close the BR door.
I drilled the lower wall and installed a 1\4 inch dowel in it.
I then drilled a matching hole in the upper wall to fit over the dowel. This keeps the two parts of the wall aligned. I then had to drill an additional hole in the hinge side of the upper wall so it could receive the dowel when the walls are folded down. This seems to work very well and if anyone else has this problem maybe this will help you out.

I think that is a standard problem all of us and don't worry about. Ours will if you bump the wall. That is an elegant fix.

I had this happen once with the bathroom wall. I think I found something that made the outer shell lean. Sorry I cannot remember, but look for maybe a shorter leg on one side. It might have been when I had the awning out and had tied it down to tight. This caused the outer side lean too much, which made the bathroom walls not line up.

Hope this helps,
Gene
