Default grey water valve leak

Hi all,

Searched for old posts on this subject, as I seem to remember it being discussed, but no luck...

Anyway, our '99 2720's grey water slide valve leaks a bit past the gate (inside the pipe, not to the outside) even when closed. Also, both slides move very stiffly.

Any recommended cures for either problem?

Thanks in advance!

Steve,

You could try a valve lubricant similar to one of the Thetford products.

If that doesn't alleviate the stiffness and liquid by-pass, you may need to replace the valve.

Hi Dick,

Thanks for the suggestion. I bought some of the Thetford stuff today and will try it out.

Here's hopin'!
