Default Another TM owner!

A friend of mine got tired of seeing this as we drove through five states this last year.

So... yesterday he bought a 2002 2720SL from CustomRV and I towed it to my house for him where we did the wiring for the brake controller so he could tow it home that night. He and his wife are super excited (and so am I).

I'd bet the old owner is on here. They traded it in on an Elkmont and have an MDX. They took good care of it.

This SL definately had a lighter tongue weight than my non SL. I don't think my truck dipped an inch. I suspect because the two 6V batteries were in back instead of on the tongue like mine. That's a 300lb shift. Subtract 150lb from the tongue and add 150lb to the back. It rode nice too. No sway or anything. Water tanks and everything else were empty too though.

Lars,

What a coincidence........I actually made an offer on that same trailer. They turned it down but it didn't hurt to try....

It is a nice unit...He'll be very happy with it.....

BTW, we're going to Pt Mugu this weekend (spur of the moment) and there are 45 sites available....

Wayne - just think of all the mods you'd have to do over!

We are off to Calico this weekend 4wheeling with some folks. Ah well, we'll keep trying...

Small world. Especially in the TM corner.
