Default Torsion Bars

My 27/20 has the front end a little heavy. Has anone tried to adjust the torsion bars.
Should the trailer end lift up some on their own once the clamps are releasded??

My 2720 front shell is quite a bit heavier than the back due to the AC unit. When unlatching the corner clamps nothing moves...thank goodness. When loosening the latches (one mid-way on either side) the shell raises a couple inches...after that I get it moving, and once about 1/2 way up it is much easier. When closing the front shell it almost goes too easily...perhaps a tweak to the torsion bar could be in order, but I can make it work as it is...mark

Default You can adjust the torsion bars. . .

I have adjusted the torsion bars on the front shell of my 2720 just this season. It seemed to take a little more " umph! " to raise it than it should have or used to. Before you go adjusting make sure the TM is level and that you are grabbing the shell in the front middle as best you can. I only had to tighten each bolt / bar 1/8 of a turn to put the " spring " back into the lift system. Does not sound like much but it was just enough. Be sure you turn each bolt in the same direction by the same amount. Let us know how it turns out!
