Default Actual length of a TM

Good day!

The question is about the length. Is it from wall to wal, or from the tip of the hitch to the edge of the bamper?

Thanks

My 2720 is 20'3" when closed, from the end of the bumper to the front of the hitch. That's why we love it!

Check out the specs on the TrailManor page: http://trailmanor.com/WebDocs/Showro...ifications.htm

Thanks, guess what, my garage is 20'4" Yee-haaaa. They also have the option to have the hitch thing folding, right? Even better then...

Yes, I was a little confused at first also.
For a 2720, the 20' is from the rear bumper to the front of the hitch and the 27' is the total length opened.

I have a 2720 purchased new last Fall listed on this site, including details and photos.
It has the swing hitch and we fit it in our 19' garage, because it shortens to 18'

We replaced it with a 2720SL.

I have a cousin who lives in Cary. It's only about 4 hours from here.
Good luck with your decision!

and the 27' is the total length opened.
Not quite -- a 2720 is about 24' long when opened (I've measured mine), most of the additional length being at the rear, since the front opens over the tongue. The 27 indicates the equivalent length of a regular travel trailer, including the tongue -- apparently a 3 foot allowance. The 20' 3" length when closed includes the tongue, and the swing away knocks two feet off that. The Car Show (dealer in Colorado Springs) installed mine, which didn't come from the factory.

My garage is approximately 19 foot 6 inches deep. I park a 2720 with swing hitch inside.

I have some marks on the back wall that prove that the factory receiver hitch on the back touches the wall first.
