We spent last weekend here during a two day trip to Cedar Point Amusement Park. Other than its convenient location not far from the park, I cannot say that there is much to like about this campground. The sites were very small, the facilities were aging poorly, not very clean, and overnight on Saturday, someone(s) sabotaged all of the men's room toilets. As of 10:30 am on Sunday morning, they were still not restored to operational (talk about your rude surprises...).
The location of the grounds are right along Hwy 2, with its traffic noise constantly in the background.
We intend to go back to the park for Halloween, and are considering staying in the "Camper Village" campground located right in the park. I did notice a TM set up there last weekend. Any chance they are a member of the forum? If so, any feedback about that campground? Anyone else stayed there? Thanks in advance for any feedback.
