About 6 month ago I bought a “new-to-us” 2720SL and, among other things, I bought and began using a manual grease gun.
I am not much of an auto mechanic and am pretty new to pulling a travel trailer.
As a practice, before every trip, I add grease to the hubs until it starts pushing out on the back side of the hub.
We have pulled the trailer from Houston to locations all over the Texas Hill Country with no particular problems, but I have noticed that there is some grease getting up onto the wheel on the driver’s side only. It looks like a little grease may be leaking out between the cover of the hub and the hub itself, but I never need to add much grease.
We have gone on 3 or 4 "weekend trips" since I started noticing the grease and nothing bad has happened so far.
Later this month (June ’07) we are going on a 2 week vacation to Colorado, New Mexico and Arizona, so if this is a sign of a bad problem that will happen somewhere down the road (literally), I’d like to get it fixed before we take off on the long trip.
Any thoughts/comments as to how bad this is and what to do?

I feel like I am talking to myself.. . After I posted this, I searched and found a thread with all kinds of good advice. The sketches referred to in the other thread are apparently gone, so I "googled" "Dexter E-Z- lube" and the picture did not look like my hub so I "googled" "Reliable Sure Lube" and that picture looks more like mine. 2 questions:
