My wife and I are looking to purchase a travel trailer soon, and the Trailmanor is still on the "short list".
My concern is the small size of the refrigerator in the TM. At only a couple of cubic feet, how do you keep various items cool, or frozen, without running out of room? Is an ice chest part of the pre-trip checklist? |

Several folks, us included, supplement the capacity with a Coleman travel cooler that can run on DC and either warm or cool the contents. You do need to get the AC adapter as the DC load is higher than the TM DC plugs are rated for.

If I have shore power available, we use the Coleman 12 volt cooler with 110 volt adapter as a supplemental fridge. Otherwise we use an ice chest.
For a cold beverage of my choice, nothing beats ice with a modest amount of melted water to keep it really cold. Moose Drool is best when very cold. |
