Wink Windows Privacy

Do the curtains for the windows close for privacy? If not,do you have to order blinds? Even the door window needs a covering.

Default Windows Privacy

When closing for privacy, I use a clip, similiar to a clothes pin. If we are camping where there is a lot of sun, we made foiled covers for the inside of the window, this gives both privacy and keeps out the heat during the day. We purchased a roll and cut the correct size for each window. Much, much cheaper than ready made. We store them under the mattress pad when not is use.

Is the foil you use easy to put over the exhaust fan and the other vent? Sometimes the sun is blaring through those vents. Where can you buy the roll? I've only seen already sized covers for windows and vents.

Thanks,
Jo Ann

That sounds like a good idea. I'll have to see what I can find.

Thanks...

Default windows privacy

I believe we purchased a roll of foil from Campers World.

I must have missed it when we were there.

We have vent covers like Texas Camper described in our TM. DW made them. I will take some pictures and post them next time we are out. DW also contacted Ed Lytle at the factory and got some scraps of the curtain fabrics and made matching curtins for the door. Even though the glass is frosted if you end up near a street light the door window lets too much light for us in at the end of the day

Very nice curtains, what a clever idea. Thanks for sharing your idea and photo.
