Ten Days on the Current river

Still doing laundry after our return from Pulltite Campground on the Current River, National Scenic Riverways.Weather was perfect and so was the campground. Frig finally working correctly on gas after a stop at Middleton (our dealer) for a new thermocouple. Norcold sure isn't consumer friendly, but Middleton did the job. The TM was just what we needed, our first vacation since our fire in December , 04. We just relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. No TM sightings except on the dealer's lot. Olga and Ken, Northwoods

Sounds like fun. Makes me want to head down to mom's for another canoe trip. Did you get a chance to try any of the swimming holes I sent you info on? Pulltite is a nice campground and with the spring, the water is nice and cool.

Hi Doug, No, sorry, we were not able to take advantage of the swimming holes. Ken managed to break a toe while pushing our 4 grandkids upstream from Pulltitie spring (their Dad was pulling). He lost a brand-new Father's Day Croc in the riffle and did a number on his toe. Kept him out of the water for most of the trip, but it's still our very favorite place to camp. Olga
