I am in process of buying a new 2720 and dealer is trying to sell me a 6 year extended warranty. Is this a good idea? Has anyone had to replace any major components within 6 years? I guess AC or hot water would be biggest items.
thanks |

I had to replace the A/C after 2 1/2 years. It was still under partial warranty - mfr paid for the unit, I paid for the labor - about $200.
I had to replace the brake magnets after 6 months, and Dexter Axle screwed me over on the supposed warranty coverage. Does your dealer's extended warranty cover running gear? I had to replace the propane regulator after about a year, but Marshall Brass promptly sent me a check for the full amount when I sent them a copy of the repair receipt. No long term experience, though. Bill |

Chargand,
I suggest you read the warranty reeeeeeaaaaal closely. You may very well find it has more holes in the coverage than a batting cage. Bob |
