The sofa/bed in the 2720SL is a bit short, especially for taller people. Because the couch has arms, it looses about 8 inches in length as compared with the SD. Also the width of the SL is about 8 inches narrower than the SD. We own an SD and have slept on the table/bed. We found it quite comfortable and enough room. I am 5'9" tall and had room in the bed's length. I have heard of someone that is lanky having to sleep with their legs up in the air and resting on the couch arm. It would be wise for you to try one out at a dealer before you make a decision.

I'm a new TM owner. Maybe a 3326 is wider but my Son is 6'3" and fits on the couch in the front fine. However the arms of the couch are removable which helps.

Thanks, Hal. I guess a couple teen age brothers could manage, if necessary, correct?
I already have my 2720 SL, but it is in storage and I can't check it out.
