TM and large families
We have 5 children and are expecting our 6th in December. We currently have a popup with a K bed, Queen bed and as sofa sleeper. We do not break down the dinnette -too much of a pain and we can all fit (snugly) into the remaining beds. I was just wanting to get in touch with some TM owners that have larger families. We are looking for a used 3124KB which I think will accomodate us. Gotta make spacing sacrifices with this many kids!

We have a 3023 and have slept 6 adults and one pre-teen girl in it but it was tight. We had a couple each in the end beds and on the sleeper sofa and our pre-teen daughter slept on the opposing sofa. It was snug but we all fit.
I hope this helps.

TM & Large Families
When we purchased our 3023 last year, seven of us went to Wisconsin and we camped four days on the way back - four adults, a 16 year old teenager and two others, one 9 and one 5. No trouble with sleeping.

6 of us
Me the Dear wife and 9,7,5,2 do great in our 3023. Oldest in the front QB, lil' one in a portacrib between the couches and other two on the couches. Works great and all have thier own bed. Figure we might even have room for one more in there somewhere!

Great. We were looking at the 3214kb but will consider the 3023 although I think it may get too crowded. I think if we slept three in the king bed, two on the other bed, one on each couch and the baby with us or in a portacrib it may work.
We are torn between this or a hybrid. The big hybrids would be a pain to store on our driveway though.

Extending the TM
Well, what about a tent? Kids like tents. It all depends on how long you stay, what is the weather, and how well you get along in close quarters.

My oldest is only 10 so I hate to put a 10 year old and an 8 year old out in a tent by themselves. DH and myself are over the tents so I know we will not want to sleep on the ground again!
