We just returned from our annual pilgrimage to Moab, UT for the Easter Week Jeep Safari. Approximately 2,500 jeeps crowd into the small town of Moab for a week of jeeping fun. This is the larges event of its kind in the world! We stayed for 9 nights in our TrailManor at the Portal RV park. I highly recommend this park if you are in Moab. We have stayed at this park for the past 8 years. It is clean and quiet although you will need to make reservations far in advance. The area around Moab is some of the most spectacular canyon country in the US with easy accesibility by paved road to Arches and Canyon Lands National Parks. It also has white water rafting on the Colorado and Green Rivers. Of course Mountain Biking and Jeeping are the big draws for those who want to challenge their vehicles and see seldom visited areas.
