Default No TM yet, but hopefully in the next year or so

Family of 6 here, and we have 2 dogs now, too. We’re tired of packing up our tents in the rain and tired of looking at $2500 just to stay a week somewhere better than a hotel in the summer! I’m hoping to find a 15 or so year old fixer-upper TM somewhere near us in New England, but will make the trip just about anywhere if I find a good deal. My oldest is going to a trade school next year, so I’m thinking this will be a great project for us to tackle together.

Like many others have said, I’ve already learned a lot from this forum. I just want to thank you all for sharing your knowledge, and I hope to do the same someday!

Wishing you the best of luck in your search for a TrailManor! It's great you'll have your oldest there to help out with the repairs and renovations for your future TM.

I was able to find one in upstate NY a week ago, but I had been looking for months for one at a decent price and in decent condition. I got really lucky on mine, I saw it just 19 minutes after it was placed on facebook marketplace and started messaging him right away. Thankfully mine doesn't seem to have too much wrong with it, a few minor repairs and regular maintenance, but for the price I got it for I'm more than happy with it. They're great little units and this forum is great for information!

Thanks for all the encouragement! I’ve been watching for a TM all summer! I realize it’ll take awhile, but we’re tent camping this weekend in Maine, and there are some great pop ups and other trailers making me jealous, LOL. I’m waiting to see if any show up this fall. We’ll see!
