2004 Model designation help
I think I posted this in the wrong topic, and I will gladly except punishment! I'm reposting it here. Sorry!
Just signed up and seeking help. Wife and I are looking for either a Trail Manor (1st choice) or a pop-up (2nd). We came across an ad on Facebook for a 2004 and the model is a TM3 Trail Master. On Google, all I get is either references to the 3023 or 3124. My understanding is the 3023 has a Queen bed, the 3124 a King, which is what we are looking for. Only discussion I could find on here via "Search" was about the TM23. Anyone know which or what the TM3 is? Thanks!

I don't know what a TM3 is, but some of the older member may. The 3023 and 3124 do have king beds, but the 2518 does also. Is a king bed the only need or would a queen bed be an option?
Not sure of other websites, but I'm pretty sure we don't punish any folks for asking a simple questions.
I had a popup for several years and moved up to the TM. My biggest complaint was opening or closing when it was raining or if the canvas got wet and I had to close up the popup. Canvas will get moldy, hated learning that lesson. If you haven't gone to the Trailmanor website, go take a look. You can look at what standard items are included and options you may want. Then come on back and hopefully the forum can answer more questions. Good luck with your decision.

Trailmanor never made anything by the name "T3 Trail Master", or to my knowledge, either a "T3" or "Trailmaster".
Can you post a photo of it? But either the ad is mislabeled, or possibly a scam.

Kidkraz - That's been my concern, especially here in Ohio with mildew and rain. Plus with family trips, would be shelling out a bunch more for a hotel versus a campsite.

3023 had a queen bed. King bed models would be 3326, 2922, newer 2518, and 2417.
TM23 would essentially be a 2720.
Never heard of a TM3 Trail Master. Got a link to the ad?

The pictures definitely show a Trailmanor with a model number of 30xx or higher (not 27 or less). The 29xx series did not exist at that time. The VIN sticker definitely says Trailmaster T3, but neither term makes sense for a Trailmanor. I have owned three TMs since 2001, and I have never heard either of those terms. Be careful - that looks like a homemade VIN sticker to me.
I am surprised (concerned?) about the addition of diamond plate to the outside rear of the unit. It serves no purpose on the rear (as opposed to the front), and to my knowledge TM never used it there. It could be a repair or cover-up for a rear-end collision.
Investigate thoroughly before committing to anything.

Bill - Thanks. I did notice the diamond plating and all ad's I've seen, that's the only one with it. While the inside wall looks ok, may be ultimately hiding something outside. Thanks for the VIN heads up. Not ever seeing a TM VIN decal, wasn't sure if that was actual one or not.
