New Guy
Hello everyone,
We recently became TrailManor owners with a used 2005 2720QB. It is a little rough in a couple spots, but nothing major (I hope). We started out with a Viking 220 PopUp and have been looking at the TrailManor for a few years when out camping. We're very excited to get out and use it. I always try to search forums for answers before I pose questions, but we're in the Inland Empire of SoCal and I may need some professional help, because the main seal on the roof is bad and the seller provided me with a new one. Any suggestion for a repair shop with TrailManor experience would be appreciated. Thank you for this forum.
Kelly K

Kelly, welcome to the forum. Can you clarify which seal you mean? Are you referring to the bag seal at the back? If you go to the TM tech library you'll see a post for the front bag seal installation. For me, I took it to the TM dealer in SoCal and had them replace it. It was easier and it turns out only the main top seal needed replacement, the sides were still good.
Also if you can post pics, so we know what you're referring to in future posts.

You want to contact Custom RV at 21722 Verne Ave, Hawaiian Gardens, CA. This is a relatively new address for them - they were in Ontario for a long time. At any rate, they are probably the oldest and best in the TM business, being in some way related to the inventor of the TM.

Thank you Kidkraz and Bill for your quick response and info. I visited Custom RV a couple weeks ago. He was pretty busy at the time and threw me some pricing that scared me a little. But after looking at a workup on the forum, it looks like his pricing is in line with the time involved and skill set needed to do it right. I'm a do-it-myself kind of guy, but I try not to overestimate my available time and skillset. And I'll read the thread on posting pics. I've read and used a lot of forums and printed a lot of info from forums (150+ pages here today), but never posted pics before. I want to do it right. Thank you again.

VI, you can have them do those items that need an experienced tech. I understand over estimating time and efforts. I decided to charge out my fridge freezer hinge, should have let those lafs do that one. It works, but not good enough.
