Default Tow vehicle electric plug

My new 04 Chevy's 7 pin plug is not working right. The left turn signal and break light won't work.(no power to the pin.) Also the right turn and break won't work together. I have tried tracing the wires but its like a spider web of harneses. Seems that they plug into a module and from there to other plugs and finaly to the 7 pin plug. As the same pin runs the turn signal and break lights I think there is a prob. with the module. Any ideas?
Thanks Ed

HI

Did you check under the hood in the fuse box? There are fuses under there for the trailer lights. We had a friend that had that problem.

Well not under the hood but on the side of the dash. A friend had a similar prob. and found that they have moved the fuses to the new location. I had no idea that each signel and break light had a seperate fuse. Replaced the 10A fuse and everythng works fine. No idea what blew the first one.
Thanks for the reply; Ed
