A question for the ladies. I would like to use a couple of these basket in the TM. Do any of you out there do that? If so, would you share with me which ones work best for you.

Re:Longaberger baskets in TM
What are longaberger baskets?
We have collected a number of plastic bins to fit the various shelves that can slide in and out. Works for us.

Re:Longaberger baskets in TM
Longaberger baskets are handmade in Ohio out of maple wood. They are beautiful, but pricey. They come in different shapes and sizes and are very practical..., you either love them, or could careless for them
I love them. My TM is a 2001 2720SL with the side a/c. Because they have funny angles I haven't been able to find anything that would work in my cabinets.
Thanks for your response.

Re:Longaberger baskets in TM
We also have the the side a/c in our tm with that weird shaped shelf to the right.
Can these baskets be made to fit that angled compartment?
To me, that's the most challenging shelf to find something to fit. Currently we keep a propane cylinder in the back and a small basket in the front. It could be better.
Given where we live and camp, sometimes I'd like to take out the A/C for the added shelf space!

Re:Longaberger baskets in TM
I could only wish that I could custom order a Longaberger basket. It's probably better that I can't or I would be in real trouble!.
We manage to keep our coffee pot and toaster in that angled cabinet. It's definitely a challenge.

Re:Longaberger baskets in TM
Hi Red...
Since I'm from Ohio and my best friend has been a Longaberger Rep for 15 years...I know all about those expensive little puppies!
Actually...I have a quite a few of them and I even carry a Longaberger purse but I have yet to put any in my TM. They tend to retire different sizes and shapes on a fairly regular basis but my friend is a Longaberger encyclopedia if you'd like to give her a phone call and see what they may have to suit your needs....she would be glad to help!

Good-luck...

Re:Longaberger baskets in TM
Hello Tami,
Thank you for your friends #. Actually, right now our TM is up for sale.
We had planned to get a new one. As of this weekend however, we have decided to look and possibly buy lakefront property in the Texas Hill Country. If we do not sell the TM, it really would not hurt my feelings, becauseI love my home on wheels!

Re:Longaberger baskets in TM
Hi Red,
I know what you mean about loving your TM but I must say...lafefront property in Texas Hill Country sounds pretty darn good!
I had never been to Texas until recently when we bought a truck off Ebay and flew down to San Antonio to pick it up and drive it home. I fell in love with TEXAS!!!
One of my best friends is from Austin and her parents are up here too but they talk of moving back down there and I can see why. It is gorgeous!! They would like to have property overlooking Lake Travis. Do I have the name right?
Anyway...I guess I'm just a misplaced "cowgirl". ;D
Goodluck with your adventures,
Tami
