a post or a thread

Is there a difference between a 'post' and a 'thread'? I know how to start a new thread, but my new threads are not showing up in the 'New Posts'.

I think you don't see your own new posts. Everybody else does.

try "Quicklinks" beside the search, then " today's posts" .
