So, always looking at alternatives to my 'largish' TM, a 3023, since it's just me and the dogs now.

Came across this one today, and it looks interesting. Considering I never use the shower in mine (I did, back in the day when the kids were younger - great for cleaning them up at bedtime vs trekking to the campground facilities, which would tend to just wind them up), the lack of a bathroom, yet still have a cassette toilet, is fine by me.

Still the whole 'no permanent bed' thing, but I think this could be modified with a full size bed, and a table that folds up from the wall, similar to the TM's. If you made the bed platform so it could be lifted, you'd have plenty of easily accessible storage below.

Of course, modifying a brand new trailer seems sort of a pain, but at least for a single person, it would make the trailer much more sensible.

There is actually one on the lot at a dealership about an hour from me. Wish I would have known yesterday, since I was down that way and would have stopped in.

I don't know if you saw my post o the Alto but we thought it had a lot going for it. Lots of windows, models with or without shower in bathroom and can have bed full time. DW fell in love with it; I am still in love with the TM.

Yes, I looked at the Alto (R-1723) and the Lance (1475) last summer (and actually posted here on the forum about it way back then) and at the time I was planning to sell my TM (actually posted it for a short time on RVTrader, Craig's List, and here).

I love the Lance for the large separate fridge and freezer (in my opinion, THE WORST feature of ANY of the TMs), permanent bed, no dinette.

I like the Alto for the decor, lower profile for towing, windows, and the fact that you could leave the large dinette as a permanent bed instead.
