Posting date
Would it be possible to just post the date of a new message rather than TODAY. Sometimes the TODAYS confuse me. I usually know what day it is, but not always that I had read the article. We're having cool for Easter here in Missouri. Happy Easter to all. Olga - Northwoods.

Re:Posting date
I can turn off today if there is a greater need to do so. Let me know opinions on this one please.

Re:Posting date
Today I think Today is nice keeps me from getting it mixed up with yesterday.

Re:Posting date
I kinda like TODAY, I check mine everyday also, would yesterday go away too? I say lets just leave it like it is. That is if everyone agrees.

Re:Posting date
I like the "today" so I can try to keep up on the newest postings. My $.02 says keep it. Smookie

Re:Posting date
I use the built-in features of this board to keep up with which posts I have or have not read .... the diamond shape in the far left column of the category headings and the "new" notation on the individual threads.
Or have I totally misunderstood this thread?????

Re:Posting date
Scene: Aggie elementary school classroom
Teacher: Which days of the week start with the letter T?
Student: That's easy, teach. Today and tomorrow.
Wouldn't a four digit date code do the same job and be a bit more specific?

Re:Posting date
When I check in on the site, I always look for the "Today" posting. It directs me quickly to what has been added to any and all subjects. Only problem I have encountered is when I check in at 01:00, today for me shows "Yesterday."
Problem with being a cop, with weird hours. "I'll get over it."
