Would you be able to link, for example, from the Camping Stories section to specific pictures in the album?

It doesn't matter to me.

My only concern is the size of the images.

If they are too big then:

1. space on your server is wasted. But disk space is pretty cheap these days.

2. download time would be slower than necessary. Most of us have high speed access most of the time. But sometimes a slow wifi connection gets in the way. As long as the images are never automatically displayed then this will not matter.

Chris, I have no doubt that you have already figured out these issues and how to solve them. Most albums that I have seen start with thumbnails and then you must click to see the larger image.

An album would be great. Before we settled on our TM, I did extensive search of this site. We don't have a local dealer, so our purchase was based on everyone's input here. I tried to search for every picture I could and enjoyed seeing how everyone was using their TM and what changes they made to make their TM fit their needs. Pictures were worth a lot to us and I still enjoy seeing those posted - pictures of improvements as well as pictures of vacations.

Sounds good to us, we usually get a pic of the TM in each CG we visit.

Just throwing it out there. Picasa collaborative albums just might be a good solution. It's hosted by Google, the flexibility is excellent compared to the free offerings by Picasa and photobucket types and doesn't have the overhead of needing web hosting, etc.

Another Forum I am a member of uses the same program as this forum. They have members galleries and also other galleries for pics. You can do separate folders under either gallery. I am not sure what the bandwidth is for that, but they are a very active group with paying members, fund raisers and get togethers.

Here is a link to their gallery section just to take a look:

Hope this helps.
