Default Propane Tanks

Are the propane tanks on a 2720 just normal, run of the mill, propane tanks you can get at Lowes, Home depot,...wal-mart? Or are they special to trailmanor?

Depends on the TM model most are special horizontal tanks but some are vertical.

They are special, but not special to TrailManor. They are not available at Lowes, Home Depot and the like. Manchester Tank <http://www.mantank.com> makes and sells them. They require a special fill procedure (vertical) and have a special construction for use while laying horizontal. Normal tanks are dangerous if used while horizontal because they can deliver liquid propane into a system designed to operate only on gaseous propane.

Other trailer manufacturers use them also.

The slide out models use the horizontal tanks to allow for clearance for the slide out, all other models use the common style tank you can get at Wal-Mart.
