I'm not sure what you mean by "hitch", so it is hard to answer the question.

At the front of the TM, just ahead of the front shell, the frame members come together in a pointed affair shaped like the letter A. This whole thing is called the A-frame, and it is about 3 feet long. The propane tanks are mounted on the A-frame, the battery on most TMs is located on the A-frame, and so forth. At the very front of the A-frame is the coupler - the cup-shaped assembly that clamps down on the hitch ball, which is on the hitch, which is on the tow vehicle.

Yes, the stated length of the TM includes the entire A-frame, including the coupler, give or take an inch.

Have you checked the Trailmanor website? They have the specifications for all the different floorplans:

http://trailmanor.com/WebDocs/Showro...ecs.htmlmodels

Look under "Floorplans" and "Specifications" if the link doesn't take you right to it.
