Installation Fiamma F45 Plus Awning 2720 SL
Need some help installing Fiamma F45 Plus awning on our TM. Awning was coming loss, so previous owner started installing lag bolts, but wood behind it was bad, so the bolts didn't work.
Was not sure what installation kit I needed to purchase to re-install, so I emailed Ed at TM Factory and he said 1999 TM's awning were installed with screw and silicone into good wood. Since I have replaced the wood on the roof I think I am good to go. I wished the wood was more than 1" X 1" and 1" X 1" on the top of the sidewall, but I guess that is all that is needed.
What I would like to know is how are the screws placed. I guess what I am asking for is a pattern. Something like there are 3 screws 4 inches from the left edge (door side) and they are 3 inches apart and etc. Also can you tell me if they were screws or lag bolts and if they used washers with them.
I know Ed is busy at this time of year with many TM owners contacting the factory with questions, so not sure when he will be able to get back to me and your help will be greatly appreciated.
