Default Fiamma Wall Brackets

I am going to order a set of wall mount brackets for my awning so I can keep the legs off the ground and out of the way.

What woud be the best way to mount these to the side of my TM? Would self tapping srews be okay or would sheet metal screws work better?

Were they not installed on your TM at the factory? Mine are......and from what I can tell from your avatar pic, it looks like they're on yours too.

They should be mounted at the bottom of the trailer body. FIAMMA uses the same support legs for on the ground and on the side of the trailer. Remember to use the center one betbeen the trailer top mount and the rolled out awning frame. All three are adjustable.

Actually, on the folding TM's, they are mounted at the bottom of the shells.

Uh.
PLease belay my last.
Temporary brain fart or something. I just had my first senior moment and I'm only 49. I just went out and looked and I darn well do have the brackets. I don't know what I was thinking.

Thanks guys!

I have pointed to what appear to be the brackets. The line up with the outer edges of the awning, and should have a small metal bar about 1" wide and maybe 1/8-1/16" in diameter that slides up and down. Slide the bar up, slip the foot of the awning leg in the bracket, and slide the bar back down.

You will find them quite useful. Kinda like an early Christmas present.

I think this may set the record for the quickest resolution of a problem on the forum! - camp2canoe

P.S. mhatcher - I have 10 years on you and can assure you that the senior moments come more frequently as the years wear on.
