Inside diameter of Shower Line

Does anyone know the diameter of the inside of the shower hose? Is it the same for the inside and outside shower hose?

The fittings appear the same on both showers. You could swap the lines and heads as I recall.

I just went to Walmart and bought a $8 shower hose with spray head on it. I discard the head and used the hose. Our inside hose was leaking at the tub end fitting. I'd guess this is a 1/2 inch hose but they seem to be standardized so it doesn't matter. Our outside hose seems to be original and is really stiff so I think I might replace that one too. The new hose is nicely flexible. If a Home Depot is handy you would probably have a better selection.

Hopefully the flow matches the pump. Some others were disussing a great head in another thread.

When I added the Oxyenator shower head I had a similar problem. Added a little teflon tape and everything was fine.
