We go there for the archery deer season and have one uncle with a large farm ...over 5,000 acres and another uncle with a small place with only 40 acres. We like the smaller place to set up our TM...but mostly because there are a couple of cats there.
The year before last my brother in law and his wife stayed at the large farm with no cats and took 37 field mice with them when they left in their 40 ft motor home...we did not take any mice home.
They are both set up to have family camp ...each farm is set up with both 50 and 30 amp plugs and you can hook up directly to the septic tank when you need to dump.
We have a lot of fun visiting with relatives while we are there. My Mother in law usually goes to visit at the same time by plane. We could stay in the house but like having our own space. They get a lot of visitors and last year there were two other sets of Aunts and Uncles visiting while we were there. So bedrooms were on short supply anyway. Before we bought the TM we stayed in town and drove out to the farms every day.
My point of my original post was how dusty the farm roads are and how little dust we get inside on our drive in from the main road. I just checked with Tom...and I guess it is not a fair comparison...because it is only about a 3 and 1/2 mile road....I guess it seems longer because we drive slowly down this road.
