Hide and Seek
I am replacing my Thetford. The plastic wedges on my Thetford are hiding. I have read the posts but I can not find these little critters. Can anyone give me that little extra input to find these rascals?

If you can’t see them while laying with the side of your face on the floor looking under the toilet (ew), they may be in backwards. You would push them back instead of pulling them forward.

Where are they in relation to the adjusting bolts and nuts

What adjusting bolts & nuts? Remove the trim panels. Get down with your face at floor level and look under the front of the toilet. They run front to back alongside the drain. I’ll see if I can take some pics (my Thetford is in the basement) but it won’t be till late evening tonight.

Casey -
There is a tutorial called "Removing the TM toilet" in the TM Technical Library (aka TM Info You Won't Find Anywhere Else). It has a lot of descriptive words about the process, and several pictures showing how the plastic wedges in the base works. In particular, the 4th picture shows the plastic wedges, and the fifth picture shows the brass tracks they ride in. Have you checked it out?

Update
I got it out. No plastic wedges. I have a 2003, not sure that made the difference. Had to get a small 1/2 inch wrench. Had a double box end. With little to no room I took the nut off the bolt on both sides. Had little room so had to turn the wrench over for 1/16th turn at a time. When I got them loose used a screw driver to turn it since there was such a little amount of room I could not really get my hand underneath. Once I got both nuts off, the toilet lifted easily up and out. Once it was out I discovered the two bolts were on a plate that could turn apx. 10 degrees to an open slot to lift the toilet up and out. Not sure you ever heard of such a set up. No old owners manual. The base plate was screwed into the floor with 5 larger wood bolts. I am now to the point of putting in my new toilet. However, there is a box jutting out of the cabinet to clear the wheel. If I reconfigure the box I am sure it will fit. If I raise the whole toilet up 4" it will work. If I do the later it will certainly feel more like a throne.

Hmmmmmm. I think someone here had the square wheel wells and built a platform to accommodate. Someone else cut the tub to move the “tank” toward the rear of the camper. I would take this opportunity to do the round wheel wel conversion and get rid of the box.

I don't think you can get rid of the box, at least in a 2720. Since the axles in a 3326 are located in a different spot, perhaps the situation is different. But in a 2720, with the axle positioned where it is, and the bathroom vanity where it is, the wheel well has to extend a couple inches to the rear of the vanity. There is no way to make the wheel well smaller without moving the axle, or installing little bitty tires, or installing a tremendously high lift (like maybe 6 inches?)
As for the lack of wedges, I'm guessing that a previous owner pulled the wedges and lost them, and decided to substitute some nuts to hold the toilet down.
The square wheel well issue is something else entirely, and is not the reason that the wheel well extends behind the vanity. TMs haven't had a square wheel well since sometime in the 1990's. Certainly not in 2003 (I had a 2002).

Bill-
On my 3326 the wheel well for the rear axle extended into the bathroom past the sink. It was just the plastic wheel well and a flap of vinyl flooring. I used a heat gun to soften the plastic wheel well and then flattened that little piece so I could install the SeaLand. You can see it in its original form in the picture, after I pulled the Thetford.
