Bathroom door
My bathroom door is annoying. It opens about 120 degrees, and I want it to open to 180. I think either the hinges are jacked up or it was built like this. Does anyone have a close up picture of the hinges on thier bathroom door? I've seen some videos on Youtube, that look like the Door is flush with the wall....mine sticks out the width of the door. Its hard to explain. Anyways, any ideas? comments? pics?

Mine works that way.
I have not changed it.
I also find it to be annoying.

Here's a picture of my 2007 2720sl that I just took.
Do your top and bottom doors line up?
Are your hinges all intact? I can take a closeup of one if it would help, my door goes absolutly flush with the wall.

I think this is something they changed in the new models. the Top and Bottom parts of the door are lined up, but the door as a whole, sits on the outside of the frame by a door width, if that make any sense.
Yeah, pics of it closed, and pics of the hinge would be great. I want to modify mine, and trying to find the right hinge to make it work.
Added a picture of what my door looks like.

Our door does not open totally flush either (it is open to maximum in the one photo attached), it was one of the first things we noted as a minor issue when "moving in" to this TM. We are thinking of removing it entirely and just using a curtain (or not), still a big step up from tenting/privvys we have had access to in the past! But finding a wider-opening hinge is a good suggestion if available.

With these pics I notice that above the door is a totally different design from year 2005 to 2006. The trim above the door is bigger, which looks like it makes it possible to recess into the door opening. The latch , hinges, and even some moulding are all different.
As far as the swing distance. There has to be a better hinge out there atleast.

Mine's totally different. It's a very simple hinge that's folded in half when closed and almost completely within the space between the door and frame, like a normal door hinge. I can't take pics right now as my TM is still in storage, but I'll try to find a simle pic of the hinge.
Problem is, if your door is larger than the opening, it won't work; my door fits completely within the opening.
What you'd need is a double hinge. That would probably work... Like this one, without the springs: http://www.sugatsune.com/Products/images/JDA-59-Ssm.jpg

Our bathroom door never aligned well and this made the hinges work out. I eventually gave up, removed it, and hung a curtain. Haven't missed it.

At some rally, someone should compare the hinges on a 2005 versus a 2006. I have no doubt that this is when it changed.

Ummm, the bathroom door on my early 2006 does not open all the way. Comparing, with photos, is a great idea, but you might need to open up the date window a bit.
