Default Curtains

Just bought a 2004 with no curtains. Really can’t fork out the $500 for new ones from Trailmanor right now and on top of that, the slider hardware is discontinued.
Does anyone have alternative solutions?
Thanks

Holly and I installed valances in our respective trailers. It didn't cost very much, but mine took a little time. I made mine so I could switch between blackouts or curtains.

Oh, and welcome! In about a month's time you will have to decide if you want to spend $12/year to keep access to all the technical posts. This is the only forum I actually pay for and it's worth it.

(And I'm not being paid to say so!)

I just replaced ours by buying blackout panels from WalMart, command hooks , and tension rods, curtain tabs from Amazon. Got it all for less than $125. Happy I’m able to sew! Will post pics tomorrow, hopefully.

Default Replacement curtains

Our curtains are pretty worn out. Am looking for options too.
So OEM replacements from TM cost $500?

These are how ours look now , we love the way they turned out. Easy to remove before closing down.

I noticed that the window trim is white not dark brown or black. Did you paint the metal window trim white or was it always white? If you painted it how did you do it and with what product?

Default Curtains

I also did a valance with pleated shades. I actually used the TM valance for the fronts by sewing more fabric (I used the matching pillow fabric) to the ends of the existing fabric. My husband made a wood frame that we then attached the modified TM valance to and i wrapped the extra fabric around the wood frame sides. The pleated shades are hung on the wooden frame behind the TM valance. They hang on french cleats (like the cabinets). When the shades are closed they push all the way up behind the modified TM valance.
