remove carpet and or vinyl?

Hi

We are new owners of a beautiful 2005 3023 Trailmanor and love it. We would like some advice on how to replace the carpet as we had a leak in the roof and would like to replace it. Should we do it all at once the whole trailer or just the section that was damaged? We did have a small leak on the vinyl floor also it feels a little differen't when stepping on it in one spot only. Good news the leaks are repaired and no more at this point in time. Is it a big job to replace the carpet and vinyl?
