I don't think that is original but it certainly looks like a TV, or a computer monitor. You'll have to get power going and do some messing around.

A full 'TV' (even a small one) would include speakers., so I guess that this is a basic computer-type monitor instead. Your small photo doesn't show the connectors at the bottom well enough for me to figure the sort of things it accepts as power sources or video sources, but the wall cut for the video plug seems relatively square - rather than rectangular, as an HDMI would be. I'll SWAG it to be a single connector "composite video" socket. Those low fidelity analog video ports want an RCA cable, the traditional color of the plugs on those was yellow.

If the port is for coax cable rather than RCA audio, it might be a cable-capable TV, but you're missing a necessary remote control (for choosing which channel, and etc.).

REPLACE IT.

I'd replace this old thing with a nice portable monitor. There are lot of good under even $100, using USB-C ports for both power and video/audio transmission. One port from a computer works great, but its better to have a 2 USB-C ports. That way, you can plug one into your cellphone (accessing entertainment videos and other stuff) While connecting the second to a USB-C charger, so that you don't run down the cellphone battery too fast.

Most of the portable monitors which attempt to use USB-C for video need USB-C with added capabilities, and usually a special USB cable as well. The basic charging+data cable which comes with most android cable isn't suffiently "full-featured", though many of those monitors include the special cable in the box. Many of the monitors also have HDMI, although cellphones don't have that port.

In addition to built-in speakers, you should look for good brighness. Most of the ceap ones are only about 250 "nits" of brightness, you probably want to pay extra in order to get a really bright screen. A screen which can removed from a smaller wall mount might also work better with the tilting bath wall in lowered position, particularly if you'd like a larger screen size.

What year and model is your TM? I seem to remember, at one point the factory did offer a built-in TV on the bathroom wall, as shown in your photo. Perhaps another member may recall when that TV was installed on a few past units.
