Wet during take down

Currently have a traditional pop up camper and looking at Trailmanors. Biggest drawbacks to my pop up are having to put back up when I get home because it was wet when I had to leave campsite and overall set up time. Is the set up time for a Trailmanor typically less than a pop up? And can you take down a Trailmanor after a rain or heavy dew and not have to put back up to dry out later? Thanks.

The closeup time to shut down the trailer itself is only about 5 minutes or less:
collapse:
bathroom
wardrobe
store kitchen cupboard
store chest of drawers
collapse dinette
push in slide
push in rear bed
close and latch shells

This is what can take longer depending on how you camp:
-clean up dishes, bedding, and all stuff that will be in the way of collapsing the trailer. We are not tidy campers in our TM with 2 kids, so this can take awhile.
-clean out toilet and empty holding tank; store hoses
-disconnect water and store hose
- switch fridge to DC, disconnect AC hook up
- hitch up trailer, retract stabilizers
- hook up towing mirrors

Rain is a non-issue unless it is very windy. No need to open and dry later.

With your pop - up, you probably didn't have to worry toilets, holding tanks, WDH, towing mirrors etc. The setting up and closing up of the TM is just a small part of the process.

It might be just me, but one thing you should consider about the Trailmanor is that they're not quite so robust as some rigid trailers. Some of this is to keep the weight down. Some of the cabinets are masonite with woodgrain vinyl applied. A lot of wood molding, weatherstripping, etc., is attached using staples. There are large vinyl pieces and moving parts you would not have on a rigid camper.

Mine was purchased as salvage with hail damage which the insurer wrote off, as my first RV and the one I'd make mistakes on inexpensively. So maybe I should not complain. But it has been surprising just how much I have had to fix.

Thanks

Bruce
