Vanishing Threads that I started.

I had another thread that I started - disappear this morning after a few hours.
Technical Glitch?
Or am I violating some posting rule?
If the moderator kills them ...I have not received any emails or private message explaining why .

The last thread was (#92658?) titled "(TODAY ONLY) The Original Dreamie All In One Sheet and Pillow Pocket"

I think you may have violated the posting of a business ad. Not the exact wording but there is something to that effect in the posting rules. When I first saw the thread title I was thinking spam until I saw the user name.

Don't feel bad sometimes around here it just happens. I have had a post deleted myself & didn't know it until I was looking for it, but I look at it as this isn't my Play Ground & it isn't worth worrying about.

Overall though Bill does a good job IMO.

My first thought when I saw it was spam also. Might have violated a rule about posting ads, but I'm not sure that would apply in this case. Maybe Bill could update us on board rules regarding this sort of post?

Yes I agree the post may have looked like spam,
but I was trying to let you know about a deal for a pair of odd
as-seen-on-tv "Dreamie" sheets that may work great in our campers.
Also I didn't just sign up today for my first free postings.

Since it was a daily deal at woot.com, I titled it "(TODAY ONLY)" and thought about deleting
the post the next day as the post would become irrelevant.

Don't worry about it you was just trying to help out which is what a board is supposed to be about. Yes it may have looked like spam which is against most any boards rules not just this one. But when I seen it wasn't a new member I immediately assumed you was just trying to pass on a good deal.

I also saw those on Woot.com and bought them. They have already shipped. The price was...great.
