I know that some just use their TM for camping. I use it for a lot more:
- lodging at events (for me, mainly automotive or avaiation related)
- mobile guest room (away from home)
- guest cottage (at home)
- lodging while travelling

and wonder how many uses others have (as a chicken coop like the CX-99 doesn't count) vs how many just camp ?

I voted for travel lodging and camping too. I also voted for "other" because I like to go hang out in it sometimes when the rainy season starts here and listen to the rain on the roof. I like to hang out there sometimes just because I'm not camping and I just want to be in the TM and think about camping. We leave it set up all year long.

It's my rolling dog house/hunting cabin.

Voted "camping only" because of our past history with the old pop-up. But I intend on all those other uses for the TM when the need arises.

Absolutely all of the above, and I hang out in it in my driveway when I want to just relax.:D

Sounds like u need another category... " man cave."
I voted lodging and camping.

Like you WB, I've used mine for hurricane evacuations. One of the reasons I keep it out of town during camping season is to be able to get to it without too much effort. Supplies are in it for camping at least a week. It's 150 miles away. Most of the storms dangerous winds will have dissipated by that distance.

Part of the reason I live 200 miles from south Florida and 80 miles from the coast. Are others but that was a consideration.

In 30 years I've been without power once (after, not during a storm) and lost two shingles once (now hurricane rated). I've had more damage from hail than himmicanes.

All of the above and other

My "other":
Sleepovers for the kids.
Overnighting at NASCAR events.
Staying in family members' yards for reunions/get-togethers where house-space is at a premium or separation is wanted/needed.

Doghouse

I would add that mine has also earned the name the DGHAUS because from the moment I made the commitment to purchase, it is where I escape when I get in trouble. Thankfully, a very comfortable doghouse.

I also use this as our team vehicle in week long bike outings as our home base. We hall all of the bikes and have this as our headquarters to escape as much of the team camps in tents.
