Does anyone know of a place in the Fort Worth-Dallas area that rents TrailManors? I would love to rent one from time to time for a week or so.

Does anyone know of a place in the Fort Worth-Dallas area that rents TrailManors? I would love to rent one from time to time for a week or so.

I've heard of some rental TM's but they were out on the west coast. In my opinion, the mechanism and other special characteristics don't really offer a good rental unit. A uninformed or inexperienced consumer that wanted to rent may not appreciate the special features. I know the tent style pop-ups are rented often but the replacement costs are much lower than a TM. Most rentals would need to be 2010 or newer which run from $15k to $25k.

The other thing is there is not that many TM's in this part of the country. For decades, the factory was family owned and operated. The units are common for the region around the factory and out west but not as popular here in Texas. Conventional TT are made by the tens of thousands annually where as TM are only in the hundreds.

Spring Cypress RV near Houston used to rent them (and may still)*. Too far for you, though, I reckon.

* They were once a TM dealer, and rented some that they had left, after that.
