My seven year old son and I were in Toysrus yesterday and they had a buy one -get the next one for $1.99 sale on Wii games.

He chose the 'Price is Right' Wii game for his second game. We get it home and start playing it (it is a hoot) and on the very first showcase showdown, they have a Hi-Lo trailer in it. I got a kick out of seeing it (as the game uses actual video/audio clips from the television show itself. They were showing a video of the Hi-Lo and it opening/closing along with the interior of it.

As we played the game, later on, there was a teardrop travel trailer in one of the showcase showdowns. After seeing that and the Hi-Lo previously, I really got to wondering........"could there also be a TrailManor show up eventually".

Does anyone know (or have seen) if TrailManor ever had any of their products on the Price is Right? The game has a 2010 date on it, so it would have had to been before that, for TrailManor to be included in any possible video clips.

P.S. As you play the game, you get a bonus of unlocking funny video clips from the show. These clips seem to cover many years as one had Bob Barker when he still dyed his hair. In this clip, the contestant faints and falls to the floor when she wins the final showcase.

My son also won $31,000 on my favorite Price is Right game, which is Plinko. Now I just got to figure out how to get him to do this on the real show. :D
 
Yes, I've seen two episodes where a 2619 was the prize (within the last 2 -3 years). I don't recall whether or not it was won though.

Our 2009 2619 was on the Price-Is-Right sometime in the second half of 2008.

We bought it from Custom RV at the Pomona RV show in November 2008 and received several discounts, including a RV Show discount, a Manufacturer discount and a Price-Is-Right discount because it had been off the dealer lot for several days for taping of the show.

Bob Barker apparently retired in 2007, so there was no Bob Barker discount or 'spay and nueter your pet' stickers left behind :D

Custom RV also supplied Chalet's to the show.

That is an interesting history with your trailer, Jim. You don't happen to have any pics with the Price is Right models in it..........nevermind, I'm getting off-topic. ;)

Now that I know TrailManors have been on the show, I will looking out for one to appear in the Wii game. BTW, what should I bid, in case it does? LOL

so out of curiosity, I did a search:

Worksman Cycles Tandems are currently listed @ $1629
Costa Cruises currently has 7 night deals starting @ $500/night/person...so figure $3500-$5000 for a cruise for 2.

May have to take my 7 and 10 year old to Toys'R'Us this weekend :D

Woo-hoo, a TrailManor did show up on the game as we were playing tonite. I don't know if it was Mud-Dogs or not. My son won it on the final showcase ..........and btw it wasn't the same prizes lumped together as listed above.

I'm telling you, this game is a blast.

Yeah, I asked my son if I could use his trailer, and he told me he would have to think about it. :D

The game we have is the 2010 version, as shown below. It appears there is also a 2008-09 version, which I don't know what the differences are. I have also read where they are coming out with an even newer version, that has more of the classic games from early on in the show.

LOL - so the game came today. Got home from work and the kids are still at Tae Kwon Do practice...so I started playing. I couldn't win the wheel spin to get into the showcase for the life of me.

FINALLY won a spin and made it to the showcase and the last prize in my showcase was MY Trailmanor....which I won! :D

The showcase was a portable DVD Player, a treadmill and the TM (the showcase girl was dressed as a ranger and they were talking about 'Melowstone'...I bid 35K and it was 35344...

Just looked in my garage and it's back....and the tax man is knocking on my door :D

I've also discovered my 7 year old has a much better idea of prices on consumables/small household items than I do. They got home after I won the TM and we all started playing.

A 'Frog' humidifier came up in one of the games and my son said, 'Dad - I saw that at Target! It's $xx!!" I was a bit skeptical, but I bid the amount he gave me (forgot the exact price), and he nailed it.

Looking forward to playing more with them....glad you started this thread Bobby! :)

I'm not glad. I have a very upset child. Evidently something happened to his TrailManor he won the other night. It's gone now. :p

It really is a blast. I picked my son up from school this afternoon and he asked if we were going to play it, when we got back from the high school football game tonite.

He discovered as you unlock the games, and go look at the hidden video clips from the show, you can click on the play button at the top of each screen and actually just play that individual game.

There is a new version coming out next week called TPIR Decades. I will have to get it. You are supposed to be able to play your Mii characters with this new version.

LOL....ouch....and now it's just going to get worse if B & D and Countrygirl start winning the showcase! We probably only have a few more days to get some camping in before it starts to get really annoying.

Perhaps we need some ground rules - no playing on weekends....imagine being camping and sitting around the campfire just before turning in and having someone 1,500 miles away winning the showcase? Poof....looks like you'll have to spend the night in the TV (now I'll have to bring the WII and an inverter for the TV on every camping trip....ughhh)

Perhaps we should delete the thread and buy all copies of the game? :D

Maybe we should at least edit the price out of these posts. That way, if they win "our" trailer, they'll have to work for it. :D
