Well, which version of the Maverick would help give you a better answer. But, if what I saw on the Ford site for that vehicle, I would say no. The 2025 had a tow capacity of 2000 lbs, the 2619 is well over that for dry weight.
I see some models with all wheel drive and towing package have a 4,000 pound rating. I wouldn't want to do any long trips. Big hills might be an issue.
I desperately wanted a Ford Maverick when I was last vehicle shopping but they were like hen's teeth, so I got a Ridgeline. Boy am I glad I wasn't able to find a Maverick. The Ridgeline is a great vehicle. Many car writers say it's the right truck for what most US buyers use a truck for but it never really caught on. You'll get 5000# tow capacity, plus I love the combo tailgate and the "trunk" under the truck bed. It's massive!
For any casual readers, the tow capacity and CVT comments relate to the Maverick. Ridgeline has 5000# tow and a 9 speed since 2020 and 6 prior to that.
