I’m probably not the best person to ask about good reviews of the tm16. Had a LOT of problems for a new trailers had to tow my brand new trailer from Washington state to South Dakota to get it repaired. Multiple leaks, flooded cross through compartment, flooded living space. The list goes on. Mostly all fixed now. Having to put another $1K of battery and solar into it just to keep the 12v compressor fridge working as I don’t go to plug in campgrounds. I really like the idea and how it’s built, laid out and equipped and hope it works after all this effort put into this thing. Large 10.7 cu fridgethat I wish was a two way unit, large counter for a small trailer, well insulated with the walls and ceiling being 2” thick,3” for the floor. Good size holding tanks. Water tank could be bigger but 30 gal should work.
Now that it’s repaired I like it. Was ready to burn it to the ground after getting it home and before the repairs though.

I haven’t found anyone else that has one to ask how their experience was with it. I find it hard to believe I’m the only one that had all these issues with it but if they were all this problematic I wouldn’t think a company could stay in business putting out something like this. Starting to think I may have got one built by someone who was angry at the company or something. I think it’s going to be ok now but man did I have a rough start with it.

Well we also have one……the same as you, like the trailer and features but….1st trip the toilet fell through the thin pedestal it was mounted on, had to rebuild, the thin paneling under the mattress fell. And same as you the leaks are everywhere, going to have an armor roof applied (4000), and the right side wall has a stress crack near the bay door.

What’s the deal with that toilet pedestal? Is the black tank underneath like on the folding TMs? Or did they just raise the floor so they could use the same low profile toilet as in the folding TMs?

I’ll have to check those things on mine. I’m not a little guy and last thing I need is the toilet falling out from under me . It already wobbles around like one of those kids toys in the park, the coil spring with a saddled chicken on it . Ceramic bowl is nice but the plastic base is quite flexible, and it sounds like the floor as well.

Raised the floor, but just onder the toilet, about 6” or so. Challenging when you have short legs. I’m going to raise the floor in front of it to help with that. Maybe build a little platform that I can just drop in and it out when I need to clean the floor or something.
The current setup might work for some , but not for me.

Maybe these quality control issues are one reason for a lack of dealers. Lack of dealers is a big red flag for potential buyers. I wouldn't want to lug a new Trailmanor hundreds/thousands of miles to the factory in South Dakota and/or a non-local dealer for warranty work.

My 2007 TM2619 is 19 years old. Still in good shape. My kids and I love it. If I wanted to sell it and buy a new 2026 TM, I wouldn't until a dealer opened up in Colorado. If no dealer, I will look for used.

I gotta say I was expecting a lot better from this TM16. All the reading and other research I expected good workmanship but ended up with the exact opposite. I can’t blame everything on them though, the appliances and parts are the same as what many or most other rv’s use so any issues there i hold the manufacturer responsible for those things. I like the folks that built it. Good friendly folks and are more than willing to try and make things right so I just can’t figure out what happened with these units. I do hope they get them straightened out because I do still like the features and they have a lot of potential.
I’m finally going to get to use my trailer for the first time since I purchased it 6 months ago. I haven’t even taken the mattress out of its plastic bag yet. I’m hoping all goes well with it, I really want it to hold together and just work because if I have any more issues with it I’m done with it. I’ll probably repair it and sell or trade it for something else.
