Time flies - today is the one year anniversary of our purchasing our Trailmanor Elkmont. All-in-all, we've been really pleased. We have had a few problems, all minor:
First trip:
- Grey and holding tank indicators cross-wired
- Leak in outside shower - fittings not tightened properly
- A few pieces of trim molding not secured properly
Since then:
- A couple more molding strips came loose
- LP pressure regulator leak
- Electric cord hatch came loose - screws stripped (repaired myself)
We've had a couple of self-inflicted wounds:
-Bent the folding entrance stairs backing over a boulder at Lake Hemet campground (straightened out myself)
-Bent a scissors jack (location unknown) - Custom RV were kind enough to provide N/C replacement
We've also made a few mods:
- Storage box on tongue
- Apple TV
- New digital thermostat
- New mattress and air springs (new mattress was heavier than original)
- Battery cut-off switch
Otherwise, the trailer has been perfect. We are very satisfied with the trailer and the service provided by our dealer, Custom RV of Anaheim, CA.
