The Thetford Recirculating Toilet

So, I replaced the seal, but the toilet still leaks after opening the dump valve. I can see water coming from the slide valve near the rod for the pull. Do I need to replace the slide valve as well? If so, is this the correct part? Amazon.com: Thetford 12836 Electra Magic Slide-EZ Valve : Automotive
Yes, and yes. You may be able to find a lower price for the Slide-EZ valve, and it easy to replace once you have the toilet off the floor. As an alternative, you may be able to buy a set of the rubber seals used inside the Slide-EZ valve - these are usually what fail. It is quick and easy to disassemble the valve and replace them. If you decide to go ahead with the job, I would suggest you do it soon, as parts are becoming scarce.
