The Tampa Super show

I went to the Tampa Florida Super show yesterday- it is HUGE! Had the opportunity to visit with Todd from the factory and checked out the new campers. They had three models at the show set up right on the main concourse of it all.

As I have mentioned elsewhere I will be selling my camper when I get back from my Florida stay but ran across a nice unit that is a standard camper at the Nations largest coast to coast dealership (would you believe they had 11 different sites, each themed to a specific style and a general store as well!) We actually got down to lets make a deal as they said I could sign up for the unit today and have it waiting for me up North where I would drop off my TM. Of course they have the "for the show only" price so when they gave me a quote for my 2004 3023 they offered me, $2000. I just told them they had just insulted me beyond belief as NADA shows the unit in the 7 to 11 range with my options and they could just tear up that piece of paper and remove me from their email, as I would never buy from them, and left.

I mentioned this to the TM guys and we had a good laugh at my expense but then I learned of some things coming up in the very near future that sound really exciting to me. I will not divulge as it is their thunder to announce at the appropriate time, but you guys are going to like it, if it actually happens.

Wishing my back would let me keep my 3023.

Are you talking about the pick up camper model that is discussed in the latest TM newsletter? They also discuss plans to start building a regular trailer again.
(Not to mention their "duck" editions...)

I was only told about the standard camper as I had asked questions about the problems of the older model in which I was told they had done due diligence and repaired all the issues in the original and were working on floor plans for a new and very much improved unit. As I have mentioned before I cannot open my 3023 without much pain due to a back injury so am either moving to a standard, pickup version or not camping anymore. The faithful 3023 I own is on the market or will be traded in. Waiting on TM for actual stuff!
