I have a 2720 SL and want to pull the couch out and replace it with a table/ bed. We want to have another sleeping area. Can this be done and if so any instructions out there. Thanks much.

I think it has been done. You might review the list of thread titles in the relevant sub-forums, including Exterior, Interior, and How To and Mods. The topic should be easy to recognize. Remember that the furnace is under the couch, and you will need to build around that. In addition, you didn't mention the year of your TM. Through at least 2002, and perhaps a couple years later, the slide-out TMs had a substantial cubby built into the front wall, which allowed the slider to move out over the then-upright propane tanks on the A-frame. By 2006, TM had switched to horizontal propane tanks and the cubby was gone. If you have a cubby, you will need to consider that in your plan.

But yes, it has been done.

Thank you for the response. Mines a 1998. The other thing I was thinking about is adding something on. To the fold out couch to make a bigger bed, which to me might make more sense to accommodate two adults . When the bed is not in use we have the couch and all the walking space.
