Spam email from RV Life

Since the forum changed to be "an RV Life community" I've been getting spam email from RV Life.

I had been just lumping it in with all the other spam email, but today the penny dropped as to what the probable source was.

I certainly didn't sign up for this marketing email, is there a place to opt out?

(I never click "unsubscribe" links in spam email)

I've been getting the same emails. I simply set up an Inbox filter in Thunderbird that diverts them directly to Trash, so I never see them. In other words, I don't have a real solution, but consider this - I don't yet know if it works.

If you are getting email from RV Life, I think it means you have an RV Life account. I don't suggest deleting the account, since you might lose your TMO connection as part of it. So go to RVLife.com, and log in. Find the button for Account Settings and click it. Scroll down to Edit Notifications. Here, in a number of sub-categories, I found dozens of "Notifications", all of them enabled by default. I disabled them. I'll see if it works.

A further thought. On the RV Life Forums, PMs within the Forum, as opposed to email, are referred to as "RV Life Conversations". If you want to use PMs (and I do), be careful not to disable these.

Thanks for the info. I also use Thunderbird and the spam filter catches all this stuff, but I do look at it once a week to see if anything good went in by mistake. I'll try the rvlife.com notifications page.
