Sofa bed width

I’m sure the answer is somewhere in here but I can’t find it. How wide of a bed will the sofa make and how comfortable is it. Thanks in advance.

I can only give you an approximation of the open width, which is 48" and according to my daughter-in-law, it was very comfy.
