The Safe-T-Alert, Model 70-742, carbon monoxide/propane detector is located on the bathroom wall, near the floor next to the kitchen sink.
According to a MTI manufacture's representative when first hooked to power a green light will flash for a 10 minute warm up period. The light will then be a solid green.
If a red/green light has a beep every 15 seconds your TM 12 volt battery may be low. The detector does not have its own battery.
A red light and alarm indicates a carbon monoxide problem.
Attached is the manual for the 70-742 detector and a picture of the Safe-T-Alert in a 2006 2619 TM. This should help identify your detector as the model number is on the back of the plate.
