Replacing vents and center seam cover

I am looking at a 2003 2619 and am wondering if the roof is wood as well
The short answer to your query is "Maybe".

Unlike car manufacturers, Trail Manor does not introduce design or equipment changes at the beginning of a model year. Changes are phased in whenever production equipment, training, and material inventory are ready. This means that a trailer's model year can provide a general guide to the build configuration, but not a guaranteed one. As an example, I had a 2002 2720SL that had aluminum wall and roof framing, even though aluminum wasn't fully integrated into all TM models until late 2004 or even early 2005.

If you have a question about a specific trailer, the factory MAY be able to look up the production record based on the VIN number of the trailer you are asking about. I say MAY because the company has changed hands twice since 2003, and access to old production records is not assured. Or if you have access to the specific trailer, there are a few spots where you can remove a screw or two and peek inside a wall or roof.

My 2-cents worth, others can correct me, add if needed:

It probably has some wood in it. If the current owner is willing, remove the interior vent covers (usually 4 screws) and look at the space around the openings. In ours, the wood was soft and rotted around one vent and completely gone around the second vent. You can also look for gaps between the roof and the vents. Hopefully, that one is in better condition than ours.

Check the bag seal around the back side of the front shell. The material should be in decent shape. The seal on the rear shell should be in good shape because it is not exposed to elements.
