I am located in southeast WI and my entry door is in rough shape. I have a 2000 2720 SL and can’t part with it. I have rebuilt it once already but we really need a replacement. This is the older rectangle shape door. I need the upper, lower and the swinging side pieces for the lower door. Perhaps someone has a salvage camper with a decent door or would know of a RV salvage yard that may have some components. Thanks TM forum!

If that door is rotted, especially the lower half, then that might increase the odds the wood from which the lag bolts in your other post fell out is also rotted.

Thank you for the quick reply. The bottom of the lower door is actually to most intact part. The rot issue is at the upper portion of the lower door and the lower portion of the upper door. I would love to find a 'gently' used one which may be a tall order. I talked with TM parts department and they quoted me $600 per door. I can't spend $1200 for a new door. Given the other issues, I will try to reinforce the current or rebuild a new one. The parts department did offer a 'blue print' of the original one which may be helpful in my rebuild. I will post updates for the benefit of other TM owners that LOVE their old campers :)

You could open up the ends of the doors, dig out the rotted framing, and replace with 1”x1” aluminum square from Home Depot. Just use lots of glue.

I have a full door off a scrap 2008 2720. I’ll have to look at the bottom of the upper frame, that’s where they tend to rot from road spray while towing. The upper has a couple dings in the aluminum. A little filler and a sticker over it would completely hide it.

I’m in Rochester, NY. I can’t imagine shipping will be cheap. PM me if you’re interested.
